Welcome to Sutton Park Surgery
This website
will give you most of the information you need as a patient of Sutton Park Surgery.
If you have been coming here for many years we want to keep you informed of our
services. If you have recently joined us please make an appointment with our
practice nurse for a new patient health check, which will give us a better understanding
of your health needs. The doctors work in partnership as a group practice, therefore
you do not necessarily have to consult the doctor with whom you are registered.
Surgery Opening Times
Sutton Park reception is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30 to 6.30pm. The appointment line is closed at lunchtime from 12.30 to 1.30pm. A doctor is available for emergencies only during this time. If you need a doctor IN AN EMERGENCY, please ring the surgery telephone number 0121 353 2586. It is important that you listen carefully to the whole of the answerphone message.
Please note: the answering machine does not take incoming messages.
Practice News and Notices
EXTENDED HOURS
The Surgery is now open for pre-booked appointments only from 7.30 on Monday mornings and on Monday evenings to 8pm. For security purposes, patients attending for appointments during these extended hours will only be able to gain access to the building by using the intercom system on the wall to the left hand side of the main doors.
MONDAY MORNING TRIAGE CLINIC
The Surgey now holds a Nurse-led Minor Illness clinic on Monday mornings from 10.20. These appointments are available on the day only. The clinic is run by Nurse Bridget who is a qualified Nurse Prescriber and trained to deal with minor illnesses. Patients ringing for an appointment will be asked if it is for one of the following conditions: sore throat / tonsillitis, ear infection / earache, eye infections & styes, skin infections / cellulitis, minor respiratory infections - e.g. coughs, colds, 'flu like illnesses, infected insect bites, hay fever, morning after pill. THESE ARE THE ONLY CONDITIONS THAT WILL BE SEEN IN THIS CLINIC.
Note: A GP is always available for support if the nurse feels that this is appropriate.
